Since my days as a Pittston Area School Director I always enjoy speaking with students. After all students are our future. This time it was with Temple University students and of course their mascot Hooter! It’s always a “hoot” whenever the outgoing Temple University students are visiting the Capitol! I had a chance to meet with them about how the Temple community is hard at work trying to make positive contributions that will be felt across the Commonwealth. Hooter the Owl certainly had a lot to report about this world-class research institution, and I wish them all the best as they continue trying to make a stellar education accessible to more in-state students in Pennsylvania. ... We set up a table from the office at Abington Heights for their career day. I always enjoy speaking with students about being a State Representative and asking them questions about their own future plans. Weather it is college, trade school or going right to work. I am always impressed as the vast majority of the students have a plan. After all they are our future. ... See MoreSee Less

Working with my fellow Dupont Lions to host an Egg Hunt for kids is something I greatly enjoy . Hundreds of children participate in the event, which is supported by their families, including Moms, Dads, and Grandparents. ... See MoreSee Less
That's great that so glad many children had a good time 😌
It is with great pleasure that I recognize new businesses in the 118th District. Judy, the proud owner of Tea and More, has recently opened her doors in the historic old Dime Bank Building on Main St in Pittston. I was delighted to personally welcome Judy to the district and present her with a formal citation to celebrate the shop's grand opening. Tea and More offers a stunning space and an impressive selection of locally sourced goods. I highly recommend visiting and discovering their delightful products. ... See MoreSee Less
The St. Joseph Marello Parish Holy Name Society Smoker is an enjoyable event that I regularly attend. This occasion was no exception, thanks in part to Father Charles Connor's engaging presentation on the life and legacy of Archbishop Fulton Sheen. The event offered ample opportunities for socializing with friends and acquaintances, complemented by a generous spread of food from Dupont's Gary Kaspriski. A group of retired mailmen and friends of Stanley Rovinski gathered in support of the Holy Name Society, which has a longstanding tradition of hosting this annual event for 42 years.
