Joined my friends at the annual Felittese Festival in Old Forge. This is a must attend event celebrating the Italian American heritage of many of the settlers in Old Forge. Great food, entertainment and friendship is shared amongst all attendees. I had the pleasure of helping this fine organization in securing a grant for a new walk in cooler and freezer. It was put to great use at this year’s festival.
So many members work for weeks to put on this great event for all they do to keep the Italian heritage going I say, β€œGrazie Mille”Image attachmentImage attachment+Image attachment

It is that time of the year for the signs to be put out for the November 3rd election! If you have one saved from the primary please place it out. Our crews will be out and about delivering signs to the Friends of Jim Haddock who are on the list!
If you would like a sign please send an instant message and we will deliver one! I thank you in advance for all the support.Image attachment

Taylor Boro held it annual community fun day and this year it celebrated America’s 250 birthday! πŸŽ‚ This event is always filled with family fun for kids of all ages. Great music, games for children, pizza, hot dogs and of course an ice cream truck! I try to make this an annual stop.Image attachmentImage attachment+4Image attachment

🚨Endorsement Alert🚨

Over the past four years, I have been privileged to work with the nursing professionals and leadership of the Pennsylvania Association of Staff Nurses & Allied Professionals to ensure access to healthcare for the residents of our commonwealth and support safe and equitable working conditions for one of our most valued and needed professions…nurses!

I voted for safe staffing levels in our hospitals to assure patient care and keep staff from burning out. Voted to increase penalties for work place violence against medical staff. We’ve worked to fight hospital closures and developed legislation to keep private equity with bad intent out of PA. We are working to encourage more people to enter the profession and make education affordable. It has been a tremendous experience watching our dedicated nurses fight for their patients and I am honored to partner with them to help protect and grow healthcare in our communities.

Thank you PASNAP for your support!

Scenes from the Pittston Tomato Festival! Today is a fun day in the City of Pittston, it started with the three mile race and then the parade. The Festival continues to run through Sunday so you still have time to get some delicious food and other treats a long seeing some old friends.Image attachmentImage attachment+Image attachment
