Try doing something for the tax payers instead of supporting your party's stupid positions. You're supposed to represent Americans, not illegals or Muslim thieves.

Firefighters ๐ are staples of our community. I know this since my days as Mayor of Avoca. So I joined in with Governor Josh Shapiro in Dickson City to congratulate and thank them for their great work with the recent hospital fire. I am glad to say action speaks louder than words as before this fire the Governor announced a new 30 milllion dollar grant program for fire departments. This new program has my vote! ... As of mid-February 2026, Governor Josh Shapiro is facing scrutiny from Pennsylvania lawmakers, with investigations focused on the use of state funds for improvements to his private residence and a separate lawsuit alleging retaliation against state police officers.
Subpoenas over Private Residence Spending: Pennsylvania Senate Republicans authorized subpoenas in December 2025 to investigate over $1 million in taxpayer-funded security upgrades and renovations made to Shapiro’s personal home in Montgomery County following an arson incident in April 2025. The investigation aims to review records from vendors and the Pennsylvania State Police regarding the necessity and extent of these upgrades.
Whistleblower Lawsuit: Two Pennsylvania State Police troopers filed a federal lawsuit against Shapiro, the state, and state police leaders, alleging they faced retaliation and "hostile treatment" after reporting payroll fraud within the department.
Land Dispute Lawsuit: In February 2026, it was reported that Shapiro and his neighbors are engaged in competing lawsuits over a property boundary, with the neighbors alleging the governor unlawfully took over a portion of their land to build a security fence.
Previous Accusations: Reports from 2023 indicated criticism regarding how his administration handled a sexual harassment scandal involving a former top aide, Mike Vereb.
Shapiro's office has defended the expenditures at his private home as necessary security measures following an arson attempt. In the retaliation lawsuit, the state police denied the allegations, stating they take misconduct claims seriously. As of early 2026, Shapiro has not been criminally charged with fraud or corruption.

Question for Haddock, what have you done to lower the tax burden on the tax payers? Not the low lifes who pay nothing, but to the actual tax payers?
Dependable, accessible heathcare is a standard of life. The State played a major role in assuring our local hospitals stayed open. Many people did not realize that CHS was ready to close shop in our area. I was glad to support the workers and patients of our hospital system to have jobs and healthcare.Excellent news for NEPA. DOHโs approval of Tenor Healthโs acquisition of Regional, Moses Taylor, and Wilkes-Barre General brings long-needed clarity to many in our area.
A sincere thank you to the doctors, nurses, and hospital staff who never stopped caring for patients during a very uncertain time, and to our community partners, legislative colleagues, and the Shapiro Administration for helping move this process forward. ... See MoreSee Less
